About the Creator/Team

Charitable Trust Support India was founded by Leland Ashworth, a lifelong advocate for social equity and community-driven change. Though based in New Zealand, Leland has spent over a decade working alongside NGOs in India, witnessing firsthand the resilience and dedication of local organizations. Frustrated by the lack of a centralized, trustworthy resource for identifying genuine charities, he created this platform to amplify their voices and make it easier for people to contribute with confidence.

Why This Website Exists

This website exists because too many well-intentioned donors don’t know where to turn — and too many deserving nonprofits struggle to be seen. We’re here to change that. By verifying organizations, sharing transparent impact reports, and spotlighting stories that matter, we’re building a community rooted in trust, accountability, and collective action.
